Sunday Dinner! (by MrWalkSoftly)
Any of y'all remember Sunday dinner as a kid? For clarity, I'm from the South so "dinner" could mean the noon meal also....
Anyway...church followed by that great meal mama could seemingly whip up in no time....chicken n dumplins', fried chicken, a big ol pot roast full of veggies....always followed with a great dessert, apple cobbler, banana pudding, etc...mmmmMMM!
Gonna relieve my childhood today by making some chicken and spaghetti...mama style!

We usually went out to eat after church. But it seemed like Sunday dinner was all week anyway. You can tell I didn't miss no meals lmao.
Probably more of a generational thing. Our Cracker Barrels and the like are filled now right after noon on a Sunday these days. People want that chicken fried steak!

I forgot to mention sometimes the church would have cooked too. But, yeah I gotcha. I heart Cracker Barrel!
