Folks who have cared for parents with cancer, what food items have your parents been able to tolerate when they aren't feeling well?

With my mom she had a hard time keeping food on her stomach. Everything made her nauseous. She could eat fruit , yogurts , soups. Every once and awhile she could eat fish her favorite was captain Ds. She mostly just drink juice or ensures or coffee.
I sure do miss her......
