Forum Etiquette (by JCSMTG)
Im unable to do this due to my phone, but i really think an official thread on forum ettiquette is in order. Thread hijacking is becoming a nuisance :(
Posting in the wrong forums is also abit rampant. Wish i had internet so i could save somebody else the typing that involves =/
This is a good idea. What would you guys like to see included in the forum etiquette?
Thread hijacking, trolling, posting in the wrong forums, respecting others opinions/faith/sexuality/how punishment for breaking rules is handled. Just examples
Necromancy (resurrecting dead threads)
Trolling (just like fishing, throw out something controversial/inflammatory or just goading ppl into loosing tempers)

Hijacking: going into someone elses thread and changing the flow of conversation to another topic
Just ask people to be respectful of others. Plz don't go overboard with rules. Forums should be fun and spontaneous, just like real conversations
Im not saying drop the ban hammer if a thread goes off topic a little, but repeat offenders wouldnt be able to use the "well i didnt know" excuse.
Forum rules have been added.
Correct. The new rules are found below the "Submit" button wherever posts can be made, so there will be no excuse for not knowing them.
The idea is not to go after one-time or occasional offenders. The idea is to keep the forum clean and friendly by giving us the ability to quickly remove repeat offenders who are negatively impacting the forum and community.
