Howdy hope your day is great. As a goal in life. I got a 50 acre ranch off grid. All By myself. I built my cabin. Supply my own solar and wind energy. Wow a what a feeling i get from doing as much as i can to hold my own without expecting everyone to do work for me.

@Averageboy:and just curious, but out of solar and wind power which do you find to be the most efficient? Or would it just depend where you live?

@Aus3nb: solar is best. I use wind to polish off charge to batteries at night to keep them up. Solar does most all the time. With my monocrystaline panels. They charge great even in cloudy days.

@Averageboy:its my pleasure, always willing to help. Ahh, thats a smart way of doing it, ive often wonder how well solar power holds up through the night/bad weather. Did you install it yourself?
