I love Siamese, Persian, Scottish Folds, and Maine Coon cats too but I have a Tabby :) he's so sweet.

When I was a little girl, I had a Older Labrador Retriever, named Matilda. Black with a white patch under her chin. Everywhere I went she would follow and she'd move beneath if I seemed like I'd stumble and fall. As I grew older and went off to school, she would wait at the end of the street and know exactly when I was coming home ready to greet me. Then one day I did not come home my usual time and she waited and waited and still no me. When I came home I asked my Mom where Matilda was and she told me she went for a run to the nearby park, which she sometimes did when my sisters and I were playing there to call us home. It was only when I was older that my mom told me that when I did not come home she went crazy barking and jumping around and ran off towards the park and never returned. To this day I think of her and where she had gone and what happened. Remembering this now, makes me think this is the reason I have never ever had another dog. Sorry so emotional, you all talking about dogs you love, dug a memory up that's lay buried for yrs. She was like my Nana. Knew me back to front, and she was super soft and super smart. LOL.
