How do you honestly feel about the "Fat Acceptance" movement? Do you think it is healthy, or is it doing more harm than good?

Honestly, for the most part? Its bullsh!te. Pussification of 'Mericuh. Not for being fat....but for putting oneself in an excuse making class. Quit being a victim. Quit blaming your shortcomings on an "excuse"...or "acceptance"...be it being fat, white, female, this, that, whatever. For every one of those blaming "excuses" for their lifes problems.....there are five with those same "excuses" that say "fu.ck that", Im gonna succeed anyway. Look at those people for inspiration....not at the "shamers".

In other words, dont be a "fat ass", dont be a "bulemic', dont be a "this", dont be a "that"....be you, do what you strive to do....and dont give naysayers the time of day.

But..im a fat ass and im happy with it. I think the acceptence movement is good. Less suicides from bullying and less of a need to strive for social acceptence.

See? There ya go....great attitude to have, you do you and be proud. Own it. Just dont be part of some "movement"....or take part in some "million fat man march", or make it some part of some perceived social injustice. Sh.it gets old. And we have enough "victims" already.....

I'm all for an anti bullying campaign. But only ONE, for everybody & everything.
Parents have f*cked up imo. And in many ways..
And stopped teaching or never taught their kids "If you can't say any thing nice, don't say anything at all" (I'm not saying, be a door mat). But constantly making allowances & excuses defeats the entire concept of equality, & creates 'subgroups' (which creates division) & costs too much.
It would be much simplier & more economical to teach people how to act & interact & be responsible for our actions & inactions.

Fat acceptance? I am not accepting it! Lol I can be a decent human being tho, and would never make anyone feel bad because of their weight. I struggle with fat on my own body, and am trying to lose weight for health reasons. I love myself, and think I look great, but my knees, feet, and back could do with less weight. An acceptance movement is ridiculous, its bullying, and there is an anti bullying movement already...what next, a mole or crooked toe acceptance movement?
