A real whodunnit (by WalkSoftly)
Every once in a great while, I get interested in a crime story....and Ive become interested in the Jessica Chambers case out of Panola County MS. And it has the makings to become a media giant of a story.
If youre not aware of the case, a 19y/o girl, Jessica Chambers, was found burned alive outside her torched car on a rural MS road on Dec 6th. So far, there are few leads...which is unusual in a town so small. Also, the hacking group, Anonymous, has gotten involved. Heres an article on what theyre up to:
"" The Hacktivist group known as Anonymous
has recently come out in support of the
Jessica Chambers murder case. The young girl
was found burned alive near her vehicle in
rural Mississippi. Anonymous claims that the
police were ill-prepared to handle such a
high-profile case; therefore, the group decided
to take the case into their own hands. After
hacking into several social media accounts of
local known gang members, the group was
able to uncover some startling new evidence.
The Anonymous Jessica Chambers campaign
is being sourced to Twitter via the user
@0Hour1 , which is labeled as
OperationJessicaC. The first tweet regarding
Anonymous jumping on the Jessica
Chambers’ case came on December 12, and
noted that the hackers believed a “local gang”
was responsible for the girl’s untimely death.
Following the initial tweet, things seemed to
heat up fast, as the group hacked several
gang members’ social media accounts.
Anonymous then began tweeting a barrage of
damning photos and conversations gained
through the cyber attack. The group has
claimed to find links between Jessica
Chambers’ and known gang members. Jessica
has previously dated at least one member of
the “Black Squad” gang, according to their
investigation, and notes that the gas station
where Jessica was last seen is a hub for gang
activity.
The tweets paint a picture of violence, drugs,
and heavy gang activity in the Panola County
area, where the burning took place. Photos of
gang members inside of the Panola County
jail with drugs and cell phones was used by
the hacktivists to show the corruption that
may exist within the police department itself.

The Conservative Treehouse also did some
research in regards to the Jessica Chambers’
case. They seem to have come to the same
conclusion as the Anonymous group, and
posted a full timeline of events and explained
why they feel local gangs may be responsible
for the horrendous crime.
For a full list of hacked accounts, tweets,
crime scene photos and updates from
Anonymous, the @0Hour1 account is updated
frequently.
Though Anonymous is making some pretty
bold claims in regards to this case, the police
department has remained silent on the gang
matter. The department says that they have
followed all leads and came up empty handed.
With this information readily available online,
one can expect that the police have the
photos and information in their possession.
Therefore, without proper access to the police
files, one can not be certain who has been
questioned in regards to the Jessica
Chamber’s burning death.
It is important to note that the information
provided by Anonymous is just a small piece
of the puzzle. Anonymous does not have
access to the police files, and cannot be
certain who has been questioned or what is
being done with this information. The gang
may very well be involved in the death of
Jessica Chambers . However, Anonymous has
not been able to prove conclusively that the
gang was responsible for her death.
If the gang is involved, police certainly have
this information at their disposal. What do
you think about Anonymous hacking the local
gang network’s social media accounts? Is the
information helpful to the case, or is it hurting
the police investigation?""

Just a little backstory for those not familiar with the case.....Ill post the links but not make them clickable, so I can include more than one article in a post. The story is all over the internet so there shld be no trouble finding it....
This is from an article immediately following the incident:
"" Investigators might be looking to a victim’s
final words to try and find those responsible
for her death after she was burned alive on
Saturday night.
Jessica Chambers, 19, passed away after her
vehicle was engulfed in flames in Panola
County, Mississippi. According to her mother,
Lisa Chambers, the incident unfolded after
the teen briefly left home to go clean her car
and grab some dinner.
Authorities are investigating what appears to
have been an intentional crime, with the
teen’s father Ben Chambers sharing some of
the horrific details.
“When the fire department got there, she was
walking down the road on fire. Only part of
her body that wasn’t burned was the bottom
of her feet,” he told WLBT-TV . ”They squirted
lighter fluid down her throat and in her nose,
and apparently they knocked her out. She
had a big gash on top of her head.”
Chambers was taken to Regional Medical
Center in Memphis, where it was determined
that 98 percent of her body had sustained
burns; she later died.
Authorities are reportedly leaving no stone
unturned, looking into phone records and
seeking witnesses in an effort to solve the
grisly crime, WREG-TV reported .
Police aren’t sharing what Chambers
reportedly told them before her death. And
some outlets are reporting that the victim
was actually unable to speak before passing
away, though her father seemingly disputed
this while speaking with media.
“She told them, she told them, told him who
done it,” he said.
There are currently no suspects, but the
family believes that justice will prevail.
“God’s punishment is going to be far more
worse than anything that we can do,” said
Lisa Chambers .""

An ABC article from a few days ago:
"" Officials say that they are struggling to find
the person responsible for attacking 19-year-
old Jessica Chambers, who was burned to
death in rural Mississippi, because there is
not a lot of “street talk” about the case.
"We're at the point where we are talking to
people right now and there are a lot of people
we are talking to," Panola County District
Attorney John Champion said at a news
conference this afternoon.
"There’s just not a lot of street talk out there
about who may or may not have done this,"
he said.
Chambers was found barely alive with 98
percent of her body covered in burns Saturday
night around 9 p.m. and police say they are
are trying to piece together her final hours.
Shortly after being airlifted to a nearby
hospital, she died.
County Sheriff Dennis Darby said today that
many of the details are still being worked out
by the crime lab, including the question of
whether an accelerant was used to start the
fire.
“We're definitely treating this as an arson.
We're trying to determine through lab results
what kind of arson,” Champion said.
They added that they have been able to
determine that the attacker likely got in the
car with her, although they still do not have
an official suspect or person of interest.
“My heart goes out to the family,” Sheriff
Darby said at today’s news conference. “It’s
personal because I know them personally and
I have two daughters of my own.”
Police are still digging through her phone
records and witness statements, Panola
County Assistant District Attorney Jay Hale
told WAPT.
"We're still looking into certain individuals,"
Hale told the station. "We've talked to
numerous individuals who could potentially
become suspects."
The footage from the gas station-convenience
store in Courtland, Mississippi, shows
Chambers stopping for gas at around 6:30
p.m., about 90 minutes before she was found
severely burned.
The video shows her going toward the gas
pump but then turning, waving to say hello to
someone and walking out of the frame.
Gas station attendant Ali Fadhel told The
Associated Press he knew Chambers because
she stopped in regularly for $5 worth of gas.
When she filled up Saturday, however, she
purchased $14 of fuel, he said.
"I asked her, 'Why are you putting so much
gas?' She said, 'I'm going somewhere,'" Fadhel
told the AP, adding that that he thought she
seemed fine.
"If she knew she had a problem with
somebody, she would have told me," Fadhel
added.
ABC affiliate WAPT-TV in Jackson reported
that investigators believe she may have been
headed to a party, but no further details about
the party have been released.
Her father, Ben Chambers, described the scene
that unfolded when she was found by first
responders.
"When the fire department got there, she was
walking down the road on fire," her father, Ben
Chambers, told station WTOC -TV in Savannah,
Georgia. "Only part of her body that wasn't
burned was the bottom of her feet."
Her father also told the station that she told
emergency responders the identity of her
attacker, but the district attorney
investigating the case has not said anything
about suspects.
"She was able to communicate but it was
difficult," county ADA Hale told The
Associated Press.""

Last mainstream media article shld get everyone up to date:
"" Batesville, Mississippi (CNN) -- Investigators
"are looking at the strong possibility"
someone was in the car with a 19-year-old
Mississippi woman moments before a fire
engulfed the vehicle, a prosecuting attorney
said Friday.
But District Attorney John Champion would
not say what led investigators to believe
Jessica Chambers wasn't alone just before the
fire burned her and the car Saturday night
near a rural road near Courtland, Mississippi.
Chambers died Sunday. Since then,
investigators have released very few details
about the crime.
Chambers' funeral will be Saturday in
Batesville, a small town in northwest
Mississippi. The rewards for information about
her case have grown to a total of $11,000.
Champion said investigators have
talked to the person who called
911 and have cleared them from
involvement in the crime.
Investigators said they talked to
Chambers' relatives and "there
were no family issues," the
prosecutor said.
Champion already has said
investigators are treating the case
as an arson, and an accelerant was
used in the blaze. Three special
agents from the Bureau of Alcohol,
Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
in Atlanta were in Courtland on
Friday morning looking for clues at
the crime scene.
The crime scene, next to an asphalt
road with no dividing line, is
nondescript except for the yellow
police tape and the scorch marks
on nearby trees and grass.
Questions abound about how the
former high school cheerleader and
her car ended up severely burned in
this wooded area.
After obtaining warrants and
cracking a password, police were
able to access Chambers' phone records and
are following up on leads, a prosecutor said
Thursday.
Police are searching her data and text records
after obtaining warrants Wednesday that
compelled Google and her cell phone provider
to give police access to her phone's content,
Champion said. Investigators believe her
phone will be "the key to everything," the
prosecutor said. She received a call before she
left her house, he said.
On Thursday, Champion spoke at a news
conference, pleading for public help with the
case and asking anyone with information,
even if they think it's insignificant, to talk to
police.
He said he didn't expect an arrest in the
immediate future.
Champion said Wednesday that when
firefighters arrived at the scene, Chambers
approached one of them and spoke. Champion
didn't divulge the teen's words but said, "It
has certainly given us a lead we're following
up on."
Chambers' older sister, Amanda Prince, said
Jessica called their mother from a gas station
and told her she would be home right after she
cleaned her car.
The business, which Champion characterized
as a rural mom-and-pop store, is about 2
miles from Chambers' home. It sells fried
chicken, pizza and deli sandwiches, and there
is a constant stream of people sharing rumors
and random chatter about the killing that has
rocked their area.
The gas station owner who helped her said
nothing seemed out of sorts.
"She seemed normal," Ali Alsanai told CNN
affiliate WREG . "She didn't seem like
something was going wrong, you know? She
just seemed normal. She just pumped some
gas, we had a talk and she left."
He said Thursday that one thing struck him as
odd: Chambers pumped $14 worth of gas. She
was a regular in the store, popping in every
day or two, and she rarely pumped more than
$5 in gas, he said.
"I asked her about it, and she said she was
going somewhere," he said. "She was quiet
that day, real quiet."
Employee Renna Tucker said Chambers was a
fixture at the store. Everyone knew her, and
she was "real friendly," the attendant said.
"Not one time have I ever heard her get loud,
have a smart mouth. She was always smiling,"
she said.
A Facebook page titled Justice for Jessica has
drawn more than 97,000 likes, and that
number was climbing rapidly Thursday. The
page states it was created "to keep Jessica's
name alive & out there.""

@WalkSoftly:
Here's my theories.
1- I'm thinking that police department is corrupt.
* someone tell The Celt I said that:-)* The police are always aware of gang activity. It is a question of.. Do they care? Do they have recourses? Do they have backing for State & Feds? Is it a small area, & the police are afraid? Are they on the take ? Or addicts?
2- a homicide like this is, what was done to the victim, is personal. And women may have been involved. * disfigurement is psyco sexual , so jealousy- an ex or women*
3- that anything was done to the victim's mouth, is classic "don't talk " & " don't anyone else"
*I'm very interested in the case & this gang & this police department. The hackers.. Bravo :-)*

Heres some of the juicier details. They can be found in a link Ill provide and in the linked webites Twitter acct "@TheLastRefuge2", as well as the Anonymous Twitter acct @0hour1. Ill just sum up what they have to say because this actual link makes it difficult to copy and paste bcuz it includes many pics of various connected peoples facebook pics.
A quick summary:
Jessica was at one time involved with a reputed member of this "Black Squad" gang.
The owner of the gas station where Jessica was last seen is owned by a 19y/o Muslim who is said to have ties with the gang....as pics within the link seem to verify.
Jessica father served timed in the county jail for meth manufacturing and probabtion violations....yet was eventually hired by the Sheriffs Dept as a mechanic.
The county DA isnt well liked by the black community, and has been investigated by the Federal DOJ for failing to prosecute a murder as a hate crime....seems a black gentleman was ran over by a group of white teens while on his morning walk a few years ago.....google the Johnny Lee Butts case.
Rumors are that the gas station is a hub for the Black Squad gang.
Link.
Like i said...the makings of a great novel.

Other rumors that are out there....and by rumors, I mean allegations made by websites not typically deemed to be "mainstream media" sources, so take em with a grain of salt....or not, your choice.....
Jessica had gotten out of a domestic abuse shelter a few months before she was killed.
Her car had no rear end damage in a gas station surviellance video taken 90 min before she was found burned. Pics of her burned car show rear end damage.
At the scene, her car had keys in the ignition and ignition was turned on. Both front seats were in the recline position. Her phone was found outside the car....with the battery missing.
Some seem to think law enforcement tended to "look the other way" at gang problems....either because they didnt wanna deal with it, or were on the take.
I dont proclaim to know what happened, Im just sending along what I find. And feel free to include anything you guys find also.
Btw.....pic of the deceased, since my dumb ass shlda done it earlier.....

Okay. #4 - From what I read, these killings have been common when a woman has been precieved as an adulterous/ fornicator.
This type of murder is like an honour killing. And still done in some cultures - though it is discouraged & usually illegal... *but tolerated*(Arabia/India - Muslim/Hindu).
Sadly her, her father, her boyfriend's (?)or ex's involvement with this religious/custom.. Was added pressure for the demand of her death. Imo.
Chances are, she didn't see it coming or understand the religious/cultural/gang mentality, to even know she was in danger. Imo

Opinion piece from a website following the case. Bear with me, its long and full of videos and pics. Ill try and post some of the more important ones in following posts....
"" Courtland Mississippi, population 500, is in
Panola County, an area which has witnessed
an explosion in gang related crime and
criminal activity. This Day #7 update follows
the backstory, the untold story, of how events
continue to unfold.
In order to fully understand what follows it is
strongly recommended you read Day#6
update. Without the understanding, well, what
follows will seem challenging at best.
Jessica’s funeral was this past Saturday,
12/13. During the funeral a person who gave
a presentation at the regional Battered
Woman’s Center (an abuse, counseling and
treatment center) got up to speak. She shared
how Jessica had told her -a few months prior
to her death- how someday Jessica wanted to
write a book about her life.
It seems odd that a 19-year-old could have
already experienced so much of life’s
challenges that a book would seem possible.
Alas, in Jessica Chambers’ short life there is
more than one story.
In order to know what happened to Jessica,
you’ve got to go back and understand what it
is about her story can help catch the killer(s).
Research well indicates that Jessica’s story is
in essence a story of Panola County. A rural
community with a multicultural
population, sometimes at odds with itself.
Sheriff Dennis Darby presides over the law
enforcement apparatus seemingly struggling
to balance enforcement with increasingly
violent aspects. District Attorney John
Champion similarly trying to cope with a
growing need for the application of law.
Both Sheriff Darby and DA Champion
relying on the community to assist their
endeavors. A noble, albeit naïve, proposition
given the nature of the type of crime they are
encountering. A criminal class openly stating
retaliation upon anyone who would speak
against their illegal enterprises. “Snitches get
Stitches”, and mouths become tight lipped.
The perfect petri dish for blossoming gang
related activity.
Iillicit drugs and the associated criminal
activities are commonplace. So common
there’s almost no attempt to hide them.
Ben Chambers Sr, Jessica’s dad, was no
stranger to the lure of such enterprise as both
he and her older brother Ben Chambers Jr.
were previously arrested for participating in
the manufacture, sale and distribution of
meth.
Sadly, Jessica’s brother was killed in a car
accident; fortunately dad managed to get a
job with the Sheriff’s department as a
maintenance worker. Ben Chambers job at
the Sheriff’s department is what caused the
Mississippi Bureau of Investigation to take
lead in the case.
Jessica herself had previous run-ins with the
law albeit minor of nature, and perhaps history
will reveal a familiarity is what led to her lack
of aversion toward a known gang member in
the area.
According to social media at some point
Jessica began dating a guy named Bryan
Rudd, a sketchy fellow of questionable
character.
Bryan Rudd’s mother claims that Jessica lived
with them for approximately two years. With
a birthdate of 2/2/95 Jessica would
have been around 17 at the time.
According to his facebook account Bryan now
lives in Iowa however he still carries a tattoo
of Jessica down his left arm – as noted in a
recent You Tube video. By all indications
Bryan Rudd has nothing to do with Jessica’s
death.
Likewise, Brian Rudd’s sister, Breanna Rudd, is
serving a 3 year prison sentence for shooting
into a building . She too had nothing to do
with Jessica’s death.
At some point Jessica’s relationship with
Bryan ended. However, if the recent account
of her father Ben is accurate, Jessica must
have wandered into another abusive
relationship.
According to Ben Chambers Jessica only
recently (two months) left an abuse,
counseling and treatment shelter for battered
women.
[…] Chambers’ father, Ben Chambers, said his
daughter left a battered women’s shelter a few
months before she was killed. “She was getting
on the right track. She had learned her
lessons from being in bad relationships,” he
told NBC News Saturday.
Now you might be asking what purpose this
backstory has to understanding what
happened on the night she was killed.
The purpose is several fold. First, Jessica was
a trusting soul. There are wrongly minded
people who would seek to blame her decision
making for her death. That thought process is
not only horribly flawed – it
actually perpetuates systemic victim blaming.
No-one, under any circumstances deserves
what happened to her. Period. To advance
such a proposition is cruel beyond human
imaginings.
Second, such an understanding allows you to
see how her situational awareness would be a
product of her own historical reference.
Whereas a person unexposed to an
environment of rough gang culture might be
exceptionally adverse if it appeared, a person
who has familiarity might not be predisposed
to elicit the fear response as quickly. This
might also lead them to a place of risk that
would be avoided, and indeed seem
incredulous, by almost everyone else who is
looking at the situation…..""
