Thanks to all our vets!
As usual, Id like to take a moment to remind everyone of a group of vets that are leaving us day by day...WWII vets, our greatest generation. If you have one in your neighborhood, stop and say hello....if you see one in a diner, pick up his tab....start a convo....youre likely to hear some of the best stories ever.

@lilpoorgurl: Oh ok. It is a beautiful country with crystal blue waters, breathtaking mountains, and some of the most friendly and kind people you will ever meet.
....most Filipinos are hospitable... A lot of beautiful Beach we had..did u remembered how long u stay on Philippines..
@lilpoorgurl: I was there for five or six years as a kid. I lived there longer than I have lived in any one place in the US.
@ramblinman: absolutely u know Pampanga and Manila.right?.. Did u experienced to travel tru plane goin visayas/Mindanao..?
@lilpoorgurl: Yeah I did the puddle jumper planes, traveled by water buffalo, jeepny, up the mountains on foot. My parents were missionaries and I got to go with them on their trips
