I do wear plaid when I go out to cut. 3 layers, usually blue for the outter, red for the inner, and then just a black t-shirt for layer number 3.

Of course. You cut em down in the snow. 3 layers is what it takes. The top one comes off after about an hour or 2, and the second after 3 or 4. Then it is all sweat and t-shirt until the wood is hauled back and you return for the afternoon load(s).
