Ban the burqa? (by james85)

Its in the quaran for anyone to read
Or, I can argue, for anyone to interpret how they see fit....I dont know the exact wording, but Ill look it up in a bit
....but my question remains....Is it for a woman to express her modesty? Or so a man doesnt have to try so hard to "resist his urges"? We have something similar here with Pentecostals wearing only skirts and no makeup.

I asked a female Muslim why they cover their hair and body..she said to avoid their hair from shinning into their angels eyes...she mentioned a name...then to also avoid men lusting over them....in thoughts

Lol...yea...the Muslims here are in best position to explain better...but I think they ain't allowed to disclose....i don't no.cos it took some time before my Muslim friend told me
