Christmas Forgiveness (by TenFour)

I won't go into the details but I have a brother who lives 50 miles away from me but we haven't spoken to eachother in 3 yrs. Yesterday I went to go see him, just showed up no warning at all a surprise attack. Anyway we spent a few hrs talking & looking at old photos of family, friends & pets, yet not a word was said of the spat we had. When I was ready to go home I noticed he had a tree that fell in his yard, so I went to Sears & bought him a new chainsaw complete with oil & a gas too. So I guess in a way I buried the hatchet with a chainsaw

That's great that ya'll have both found the capacity to forgive within yourselves. now if that same spirit of mercy would just spread itself a little more around the world... hey, we can always hope can't we?

Well I was the one who flew off the handle which isn't like me at all, so I felt if it was ever going to end I had to take the 1st step

@ TenFour-good morning John! and you're quite right. we all make mistakes. when we take ownership of them, anything is possible. the first step begins with us. @ Gracie75- good morning Lacey! i was just about to wink a howdy atcha lol. life is way too short & time is too valuable to carry grudges. there are so many better things to spend our energy on than negative thoughts & feelings. i hope ya'll both have a wonderful weekend!
