I agree with most people are saying, personally if i had a child and the mother wasn't in his/her life anymore, i wouldnt want someone i date to be around him/her and gets the idea of her being another mommy and it ends up going badly. And besides i rather get to know person before i even brought into my child life. I espically wouldn't want a nasty woman in my child life. Sounds like evil step mom fears in my head. Lol. Just my 2 cents. And if anything i said offended anyone i didn't means towards anyone here.

my opinion having a child with someone and then we get separated my aim of looking. A man to play father/step father won't work because that child has a father already its I who need a man or the man who need a woman. But at the end of the day I need you to respect my child and he/she do the same.

I think it depends on different things, like how you met or how long you have known the guy, the kids ages, ect. But yeah at least a few weeks

How long would you all see a person before introducing them to your kids? I am just wanting to see what everyone thinks.
In my case , it took me a year before I formally introduced my bf to my daughter . But we were/ are in a LDR which was also a major factor aside from the fact that I made sure my daughter was emotionally ready to met him .

This is my dilemma back then ....
