Of the chat feature right off the bat. You shouldn't limit how many messages we can send

I agree that our chat feature is not great, but that's because we had to keep it incredibly simple in order for it to work on all phones (including old ones). I explained this here.

You shouldn't limit how many messages we can send
That limit has been in place for years and we had to add it to reduce the level of SPAM being sent through our messaging system. Before the limit, anyone could register for free, and send hundreds of messages in a very short period of time. This became a problem for our Database and our users as several people started seriously abusing our messaging system, so to avoid that, we had to put a limit in place. The limit has always been 20 messages per hour, which is a message every 3 minutes. I don't think that's too bad. Plus, if you hit the limit in an hour, you will still be able to send a reply to someone as we don't want to keep you from being able to message someone you've already been talking to.

That said, this limit will be greatly increased in the upcoming Premium version, so you will have that as an option.

So in other words if you are too shy to just chat with people you will have to pay to message? I'm a shy person and i normally wink at people and if they wink back i message. It is a chance to see if they have any untrest before you spend time typing a message. I don't use the chat because i tend to be shy. Messagung i can handle but i still don't understand. Other dating services don't limit your messaging or other features. I don't think it is right to have to pay to use a simple site like this one. I have made alot of friends on here dispite that hardly anyone from my area uses this site. I love this site other then the limitations.

Where in the world did you get that? You will never have to pay to send messages here. The site as it exists today will always be free, so if you "love this site" today, you will continue to love it even after the optional Premium features are launched. :)
