What if i tell you that Fort Knox is empty.

the last time anyone was allowed inside was in 1974 following the a congressional demand to see the gold. many experts today believe the soldiers stationed here are protecting absolutely nothing. they point numerous theories to explain thier beliefs. some say the gold was used to make off-the-book purchases. others say it was used to manipulate the price of the dollar. and a few believe it was even put to darker uses, no one really knows. but if you tell me, that no one's been allowed to see the gold since 1974, i want to know its there, and I want to know what else is inside. the truth behind fort Knox on the next few posts. stay tuned.

In 1933, one of our greatest presidents. fdr, outlawed the private ownership of gold. forcing americans to sell it to the federal reserve. roosevelt citied the crises from the great depression as his reason. to house all this gold, the u.s. treasury built the vault of fort Knox. it soon held half over worth some 2 billion dollars, the kentucky location was chosen because it was landlocked, making it less susceptible to enemy attack. know remains the most impregnable vault in the world.

With 1,000 miles of u.s. Territory in every direction and an enormous arsenal t protect it. To top it off, the granite foundation is 5 feet thick and the vault door weighs some 2 1/2 tons.
