Tornados reek havoc in roanoke valley (by samstone)

Thirty thousand homes without power since friday in the virginia valley. Power companies are expecting to have power restored by this coming saturday and the week after for rural mountain communities. Grocery stores without power and not open and food spoiling in stores and homes. People are waiting over three hours in line at fast food places to eat that still have power. It's a hundred plus degrees and people are suffering without air conditioning and water and animals are dying. I ask anyone with a heart regardless of their faith to take a moment and say a prayer for my hometown that they will be delivered through this tragic disaster.
