I think thats a fantastic concept to apply sort of like an app. If u pay attn. U may avoid a bad experience. Afterall ths is the internet and there's sme great ppl&sme ppl not so great so watch out 4 ppl w/several red flags.
U may wind up lke sme ppl on clist! Thats kinda scary!
Use common sense and gut feelings reg. 1st impressions.

I have a further problem. I can't be bothered with the karma system with how it is currently. I'm color blind. You couldn't possibly add a plus and minus image into the squares? If not, no worries
If a user gets positive or negative karma...does it tell the user who gets that karma or no?
Now dont get me wrong its a wonderful idea but im just curious lol i know curiosity killed the cat but last i checked im not a kitty lol

No, we do not notify users when they receive negative or positive Karma. This is by design. One of the reasons is so that users do not try to "game" the System.
Also, since you never know when you're going to get negative Karma, this forces users to err on the side of caution and always be nice and respectful, which is good for everyone.

Wow, although i appreciate the efforts to protect your users, do we really live in a society that needs gossip buttons to decide whether or not it's desirable to talk to someone or not? That being said, great if you need that i myself am grown and do not lack social skills or the ability to set boundries, but as i said when i deleted my first acct. It's a great site in a sick world so i understand why you created it. I only returned because a dear friend i met here kept telling me i was missed in the forums
