How would you deal with the first love of your life? Haven't seen him in twenty one years. He broke my heart. And he wants to see me and talk to me. I don't think I should.

@brats52005: youll never know and prob always wonder what if... If it was a good relationship and yer single then whats to lose...20 years is a long time im guessin it would be like a total stranger though... Thats a tough one

Kaotikdad has a point. Do you want that "what if" following you? And 2 decades is a long time, he could be very different now, for better or worse.

I had a first love that took nearly 9 years to recover from during that period ive only ever seen her once. Luckily i finally moved on with my life and i am able to even have the self confidence to be on this site.

First loves mine was when i was 15 i couldnt be with him yet he was 21 i remember sneaking out of my window to see him i waited for three years to be with him afterwards i moved in with him it was a disaster. I moved on. He is expecting his first child now next month but wont leave me alone. Meanwhile i have a child with someone else i dont kniw what to do bout it he wont take no as an answer
