@JustMeAndYou77: i use h and r block for efile as i don't have a computer and it's free for 1040ez it's faster my taxes are simple though i could do them myself with no problem
Ah, I got you.... nvm I misunderstood a little. I go through the service also though. And, yes....it's a much faster return rate I think.

Hi kitkatkatie and good for you also, especially you and Aldo preparing the 1040ez forms yourselves. What do you guys think about the other self-preparing tax systems out there? Do you trust those systems?

Yes, my sister file mine through Turbo Tax. It is pretty great.... But, I think Turbo Tax is sponsored by IRS.

The thing is that most income tax specialists do not give you all of the credit that you have earned during the year because they just trust what pops up or they just figure you're single so there is not much more you can qualify for. I think married people who file together have experienced this also.

It can really be frustrating when they don't take every possible step to get you the refund you have qualified for. I mean.... During the year, they kill single folks with taxes lol
