Well it is hijacking, which IS against forum rules and In my opinion, not only is it annoying, but I think its rude and improper web etiquette.

I agree with u Tonyshark....i think even if its the person that started the thread that is doing it, its still annoying & somewhat disrepectful to the others who are reading it and tring to enjoy the thread but cant cuz he/she is having a personal conversation. I jus think a 2 way convo should be taken elsewhere not on public forums, thats all, i seen sum that people have even said get a room to. Its jus wrong to expect others to want to read about thier conversations, especially when thier off topic, we click on a thread cuz the topic interest us, so if i click on sex position i dont wanna hear about eating at the waffle house las nite or hey did u catch the 6 oclock news.jus my opinion tho. :)

@Briteeyes1211: I agree with ya 100%. Perhaps Andres made it a rule for a ''reason''. I should add though, that I am guilty of an occasional off topic post in a thread and have no problem with same from others, but a conversation between 2 people thats not related to the original topic is really rude to the OP!
