Does it bother u (by Briteeyes1211)
Im jus curious for the people that start threads does it bother u when people change the subject and continue on with a convo on ur thread? Or does it bother any of u to go read a thread and it be a personal convo between two people and it have nothing to do with the thread? Do u think they should keep their personal messages to inboxing? Threads are for discussions rite, not for two people to carry on and on, alot of people dont wanna read ur convo, they want to read comments on the thread. I have seen several people point this out in past threads. Anyway, i had this discussion with someone else and i was jus wondering if it bothered anyone that has dealt with this. Thanks
I personally dont mind. Because its interesting to read. But i know others might not. But it i would mind i would go back on my thread and bring it back to the topic. I depends on the person i guess. I think the flirting ones are cute. But if it was to change the whole subject i then would mind. I guess with me it depends on the point im making or what subject its on.
I haven't started a thread that has been fully twisted/hijacked by some commenters. I'd probably get used of it since I join various forums and it really does happen, sometimes not a mere hijacking but a troll would intrude. Sometimes too, members perhaps are unaware that what they're doing are personal conversation when they were carried away. Generally it doesn't bother me but what bothers me are those members who are very disrespectful.
Sometimes i check a post and when i read it seems almost like intruding when they are mess. To each other. I just skip it.
@brats52005: I go with what u said brats.....feel the same way bout it!
.....so i said to him, "if ur dog sh1ts on my lawn again there's gonna b trouble" :)
If I feel like the topics moved too far off track I just nudge it back in the right direction. Lol
I think it's wrong for two people to "Hijack" somebody's thread by either making fun of the writter or just begins their own chat because that's rude to the writter. But not if the person who began thread is talking to just one person who joined in on the thread.
I kinda like that the threads are more like conversations...and to me when I see something i wanna comment on I do, whether it is mostly just two ppl bck and forth or multiple posters. I wld personally find it limiting what cld be interesting conversation if forums were so formal that we cld only post completely 'on topic' in each thread.
....and then 4 more of them came over the top. Couldnt work it out :)
