For me personally, I just can't see myself with an Atheist. I'm open to someone of a different religion, but being with someone who believes in nothing? And the atheists I usually come across are always ready to jump down your throat and attack you for your faith. I don't see how that could work in a relationship. You have to respect what the other person believes, doesn't mean you have to believe in it, just don't bash their beliefs. I've dated an anti-Christian guy before and I can tell ya, it ain't work out too good. He wasn't an Atheist though, but its the fact that he was so ANTI what I believe.

I just don't like atheists. Why? Maybe because their high and mighty attitudes get them nowhere. They believe they know everything and are always forcing their beliefs on others.

@alynn: i'm a really open minded christian, and since i was raised not to judge people by there belief i can see myself dating an atheist.

Not all athiests are against religions. I am athiest pretty much, I don't agree with some Christian rules (like same sex marriage, I say its thier choice. Let them do it), etc.

I don't disbelieve but I believe what I can see. If God would deny my best friends into heaven because they are gay or lesbian. He isn't all kind, forgiving, etc.. And I rather burn with my loved ones.

Saying that, I believe if God is real, he will judge based on the person not because I kissed his ass. I try my best to be a good person, I do fail at times, but I try my best. Do upon others as you wish upon yourself.

I have morales, etc.. I just don't follow any religion and I think like a few others kids should make own opinion. I don't care if my other would raise them in her religion long as she let's them choose.

I respect any religion, long as you respect I don't agree with most religions. (and yes, it is a belief/religion type in its own but not really governed by rules or such)

I ain't high and mighty or I an right, you are wrong. But been told because I don't believe 100%, I am gonna burn in hell, despite I am a good person?

I'll go to church, for her. I'll listen to her beliefs, and care about'em. But don't try to change me or hate me because I am not same.

Someone (not christain) disrespected my relative because she took blood. It wasnt hurting them, and she'd died over a year ago we'd not had as much time with her as we did, she did. All because of a religious belief. I don't disrespect any religion, but to sentence my loved ones to death, (or in the case of gay/lesbian) to hell? Why? How is that kind hearted?

Anyways. Sorry if I offended anyone, off day, bad day. Sore subject.

I won't vote because aimed to Christians but I would date one as an athiest. If I love her, religion don't matter. If I am flirting with a Christian girl or anything. I even ask if that'd be an issue for her. I know it is to many.

Yes, I would date and even marry an Athiest. My mother would give him good strong debate that's for sure lol but personally, I wouldnt have a problem with it. I believe there comes a point in our lives where deep down inside we'll all have to make a choice. I also dont think Athiests worship the devil. They believe in neither from what I understand. The only issues I would have in this regard is in raising kids and if he was a raving lunatic about it. As long as he believed in something other than himself, there's no reason not to date him if he was a good man.
