To single parent daddy whose been a mommy to hischild(ren) , what are the most difficult phase you've encounter and surpass(ed).?

My mother is our (me & sisters) heroine . My father's belief of the essence of a woman is only to give birth and to provide the needs of a husband (if you read the thread of an Indian guy how he perceived woman, my father was a perfect example of him though we're not Indians). My mother changed it and fought for our rights especially for equal education. Mama fought it for decades and she succeed, and now my father is a changed man .

My mother abducted my sister and I when I was three, and my sister was two. She knew our father was abusing us, but no one would believe her - so she changed our names and we lived on the run for four years. Those were the best years of my life, and she did it alone. After we were caught, we were sent back to our dad - not only a child abuser, but a narcissist and an incredible liar - where we were abused for eight years. My mom, who then looked like the bad guy, fought for what was right the entire way. She put herself in debt with court-related fees and poured every fiber of her being into getting my sister and I back, and she finally did when I was 16. She's my hero. :)
