Of course. It would not show true caring or even love to separate best friends because they are not the same gender. :/
I picked yes, Best friends know you in and out sometimes more than your own family, I have a best friend who is a male and hes like my body gaurd lol when i go to bars and also like my older brother, Since i cant read males lol he gives me the red or green light with who ever i may be with.. I dont mind if i meet someone and he had a female as a best friend :)
Hi Nenavar, I chose not if theyve dated. Adult women have a hard time sharing space. Sharing a man? pffft lol I have experienced that. It doesnt work. Usually there has been intimacy (not necessarily sexual intimacy) there and a deep affinity for each other. If a guy tells me she is just my best friend I raise an eyebrow. I am ok with it and wouldnt break up the friendship but if I ever found out that there is indeed a deeper relationship between them...they've dated in the past, been sexual etc, it's instantly over. Honestly, if she was a lover just be straight about it. At least I'd know where things stand rather than lie and tell me she's "just" the best friend.

(54 / F-M / California)7-Nov-12 9:08 pm i agree with the ladies just because your friends with the opposite gender dont mean you dont care about the person you are dating and has no effect on the relationship. Friends are friends. Lovers and partners are lovers and partners
I voted yes my best friend of 17 yrs knows me better then even i do sometimes lol
