there should not be one person on here who has to put in their profile that they want a partner who wont beat or hit them. There are hundreds if not thousands of these. When did we stop acting like gentleman and ladies and started mistreating those we love? Any thoughts?

What can I say? All I can do is to do my part and treat people right. It's sad what sin does to so many people. I'm far from perfect. But I do my best to treat people the way they should be, As a beautiful creation, made by God.

It is sad how many women and men now a days are abused and hurt by their loved ones. I suppose it makes the abuser feel empowered. Perhaps superior to the victim. Maybe they get some sick pleasure from seeing their loved ones cowering in fear. I honestly don't know why. But i do know (from friends and my own expriences) that when violence occurs in families and relationships, the best way to help is give your support and love:) where there is a broken heart, there is loved ones with duck tape:)

very nicce skittles. The wrong aproach to take is to get mad and threaten to attack the abuser. That will not make things better for the victim. Listen to them. Nurture them. Respect them.

A lot goes on behind closed doors, the victim learns how to be a good actor, so most people have no clue whats really going on , they live in there on lil make believe world, the abuser trys to shelter them by talking bad about the friends and doing the best to keep everybody away ! Brainwashing is a powerful tool, and power is what the abuser needs to feel a high and the control over the other person! Deep down inside the abuser is insecure, and miserable with himself and to see another person hurt and submissive makes him look and feel strong and powerful ! That is called a psycopath.........lots of them among us!
