Way back in my home town .. We don't have a tractor so I / my father / most farmers are plowing the fields with the help of water buffalo ..

@Singhpk: What seems hard for me is to spend a week without driving a tractor & then begin again. Have to get use to driving all over again. What does your country grow as crops?

@Rainbowbutterfly: when my dad was a kid, he had to plow fields using a team of mules.

Today I drove the tractor & disc over some of the soybean fields we have already harvested. My boss took a landplane & smoothed out some of our dirt roads & around the farm shop. After work I took my trash can to the main hiway & almost ran over TenFour, she has began trying to chase my pickup lately. Russell caught a bird this morning, he toyed with it for awhile before it finally got away which made him mad.

Team of mules? How many mules in a team ?

In my homeland .. Only one water buffalo . That animal is also considered as the farmer's best friend :D

@Singhpk: How do the farmers harvest these crops? Here we use combines to harvest the crops the truck the crops to the grain mills.

@Rainbowbutterfly: Even though you deleted your account, I will answer your question. A team of mules has at least 2 mules, the most I've ever seen on one team was 4 mules.

Today on the farm I began smoothing out the wheat fields, my boss says he wants us to go over some the fields over again with the disc. We may have a soybean field ready for harvest on Monday, had a crop duster plane spray grass & weed killer so the combines will have an easier time cutting through them. But the best news came at 5 o'clock this afternoon, the boss gave us the weekend off.
