This is horse sh!t. how many more are we going to lose before andres does some thing about these trolls
Ya know what...trolls are a fact of life. If people can't deal with trolls online, how do you deal with the a$$holes in real life. If a dating site becomes the focal point of my life, I might as well go out to my garage and breath exhaust. I really do find this a bit ridiculous albeit entertaining.
@manondago: Don't get kicked in the balls in real life...its a matter of pride as well as respect.
The thing is-if they were ignored and reported as soon as they tried to start crap, trolls would have nothin to feed off of...A reaction is exactly why they do it in the first place-No response means no trolling:) This one in particular did it again w people he KNEW would react, therefore getting them dunced or banned on purpose:(
@IndianDreamer: Reporting as soon as it happens does no good cuz Andres now goes DAYS without even logging in....and we both know if someone gets bashed its EASY to say ignore and walk away then it is to actually do it. No one knows till they are put in that situation.
@Briteeyes: Wish we had a button to push that would send a high powered shock wave to someone if enough people pushed it lol that would be a great report solution! :) But yes, I agree its hard not to respond to an attack-I think there should be leeway there for the responder when the other person provokes it.
Folks, rules are rules. No one is above them. If you break a rule, you risk getting dunced. It's that simple. No one is forcing anyone to break a rule, it's an individual choice and the potential consequences are clear to everyone. Furthermore, multiple dunces result in automatic and increasing temporary bans, so the more dunces you get, the bigger the penalty becomes for repeat offenses. Don't want to get dunced? Then don't break the rules. Again, it's that simple.
We have users who have been here for years that have never broken a single rule and therefore never received a single dunce. They are the example to be followed.
If you believe you should be above our rules for whatever reason, then feel free to use another site. The purpose of our rules is to keep the forums here civil and welcoming for all.
Regarding trolls, every time a thread is replied to, it gets bumped up to the top, thus giving trolls the attention they desire. So the solution is simple: just ignore them and report them and not only will they be the only ones to get dunced, but they also won't get the attention they are craving. It's a lose-lose for them and a win for everyone else. Now, if you let your pride cloud your judgement and start a flame war with a troll and break the rules, be my guest, just don't complain when you get dunced for it because you knew exactly what you were doing the moment you hit that "Post Reply" button.

I don't believe anyone thinks they are "above" the rules. Maybe what we see this as is an American thing....I don't know.
I also thought this site wanted its members feedback, opinions, and comments and suggestions....so telling us we can use another site is a bit hypocritical. Its like if we don't "agree" then oh well...so why ask for feedback if it doesn't get taken into account as what the "members" want for the site. I'm just saying...
