Isent it funny how the vast majority of people in america who are in favour of the death penalty are conservitive right wing republicans who are the same people that vehemitly oppose abortion saying that nobody has the right to take somebodys life especially a childs and that you will rot in hell for doing so . But if that child were to grow up and commit a serious enough crime then they will be the same people that will be baying for his blood and wanting him to be put to death with no mercy even if he is still technically a juvenile or is mentally retarded :( Now if that isent the ultimate form of hypocrisy then i dont know what is :( . pmsl

Just seems to me liberals are always defending the wrong cause. The aborted baby has no voice and isn't guilty of anything accept someone else failure to be responsible. On the otherhand the murderer and rapist knew full well the wrong he has done.

and if such a judjement drsults in taking the very life of the person
concerned , it makes the whole thing truely absurd .
so death penalty is just not on , not at least in the current system where there is justice for some and not justice for all.

Mandatory death penalty for pre-meditated unprovoked murders, rape, and child abuse/molestation. Anything else should depend on the severity of the crime.
