I agree we could have been clearer about how it works. We're actually working on adding a Help system to the site which will describe each and every page and feature of Dating.mobi in full detail for when things aren't intuitive or clear enough.

The traffic light colours seem to work worldwide. Or you could have a 'key' as a reference.

Also, after giving positive Karma you are presented with a message telling you this when looking at messages from them. But it's in red...
I think you should keep it consistent with your offline and online colours.

If you have not been rude to anyone, then you have nothing to worry about because receiving 2 negative Karma votes won't affect you at all.

Yup, that's what it was set to just a couple of hours after launch, so if you're still seeing the blue/red color combo, try refreshing the page as it means your browser still has the old stylesheet cached.

This feature is kind of good and kind of bad. Some guy was being a perve to me so i blocked him and gave him negative karma and he wrongfully gave it back to me. Why should i be punished for refusing to send the guy nude photos?

A user can only give you Karma if you have sent them a message, so when a user sends you a disrespectful message, give them negative Karma and do not reply to their message, that way they won't be able to give you retaliatory negative Karma.
