It's playing at the theater near my house. Wish i were home to go see it.
@ramblinman: its being released on youtube today. I encourage every american to rent it. TELL N. KOREA TO PUCKER UP!!! Lol.
Fwiw.....critics say it a "meh" movie...
Per rottentomatoes.
....maybe Sony is having the last laugh....put out a crappy movie, embrace all the scandal....eventually release the movie anyway....profit.
I, personally, would go see American Sniper.....

@WalkSoftly: I want to see American sniper so bad. I loved the book, and Chris Kyle is a true hero. May he R.I.P. but, its not about seeing the interview, its about telling n. Korea to kiss our ass.
I get your point.....but I wasnt going to see the Interview before the scandal happened...and still wont. The fact that it IS being released to several locations....even in other countries.....is enough of a "kiss my ass" message....not that Kim Jung Un gives a sh.t either way. Hes a punk wanting attention. But hey, Im not really big into critics reviews so I may go see it anyway lol
@WalkSoftly: lol. The thing about little punks like Kim Jong Un is that, believe it or not, they can be dangerous. In a recently released intel report, back in the 90's N. Korea had 5 special forces units on U.S. soil to attack nuclear power plants and stuff in the event of war. Obviously they dont stand much of a chance, but the potential damage to infrastructure is enough for me to take notice.
"" HONOLULU (AP) -- The U.S. is imposing
sanctions on North Korea in retaliation for
the cyberattack against Sony Pictures
Entertainment .

pulling "The Interview"
President Barack Obama signed an executive
order on Friday authorizing the sanctions.
Although the U.S. has already sanctioned
North Korea over its nuclear program, these
are the first sanctions punishing Pyongyang
for alleged cyberattacks.
The Obama administration says the
sanctions affect three North Korean entities,
including a government intelligence agency
and a North Korean arms dealer. The U.S. is
also sanctioning 10 individuals who work
for those entities or the North Korean
government.
Those sanctioned are barred from using the
U.S. financial system, and Americans are
prohibited from doing business with them.
The White House says this is just the first
part of the U.S. response to the Sony
incident.""
