I've dumped that mattdog because basically he is an illiterate tool so i can't see what he's put but i can imagine. at least the grown ups can have a reasonable debate. i have to agree with Ram though and say i prefer to message someone with a picture and its not for shallow reasoning. its because you feel like you know someone a bit better if you have a face to go with the words. i don't feel comfortable talking to anyone without a picture male or female. and I'm not jumping on any bandwagon this is my opinion only.

@VampDoll: i take no offense lol this is nothing more than a social experiment to me to see if a genuine interest can be spawned in the abscence of vanity. Not only do i not have a picture here but i haven't got a clue what any of you look like or what your profiles say, with the exception of the one person i talk to outside the forums who has become a wonderful friend but i couldn't tell you what her profile says either
