@samstone:
i hope you dont mind me saying that you are very knowlegable on this
subject. the one thing that i do know is that there are even arguments
(here in the uk at least) about which version of the bible is the "right
one". and even some people saying that the bible needs updated, but who is to do that? there are so many questions still to be answered

@james85: i have several different versions of the bible and from what i can tell changing the language has not affected the message. The old testament still tells the story of the emotional damage humans suffer from their failure to properly recieve gods blessings and the new testament still tells the story of saving grace through sacrafice. The reason they want to update it is because in biblical times understanding of the world was limited. Keep in mind that revelations was written a long long time before we found out the world was flat

I'm gonna hafta respectfully disagree with you Darlin, If a man were lost in the wildeness at too young an age to have ever entered a religious facility or been taught anything abt God and managed to survive thru to adulthood all alone, do u believe him incapable of being a spiritual man?

@JLaDawn: by definition of the word yes. Spirituality is the state or quality of being dedicated to god, religion or spiritual values, especially in contrast with material or temporal values. Without a connection to god or humanity where can spirituality be gained?

Thru observation of nature Sam...the playfulness of animals and the wondrous seasons and appreciation of our bodies abilities and miracle of birth...and many more things I cld wax poetic about...our very existence connect us to God, and I believe he is capable of allowing me to feel that connection outside any man-made religion.
