I always use those kind of pet names, with everyone. I guess it makes the conversation feel more personal, and not so run of the mill... It doesn't bother me to have my man call me by a pet name, especially when it's one he only calls me.

Well i deliver soda to stores and if i tryed to remember all my custormer names my head would exploxed lol because about 90% of tgem a women now dont get me erong the pretty and sexy girl oh i learn theyer names really quick lol

i personally prefer to have my own nickname that my bf calls me other than that i find it demening to be called anything but my name bc it makesme feel like u couldnt take the extra few seconds to remember my name or if u cant just ask me again dont call me babe or any other nickname especially when its without my permission thatds just annoying if u ask me
