@JustMeAndYou77: could be i've never used there service so i wouldn't know
That's just one self-filing system but I'm sure there are some out there that are also better or worse. I was very skeptical about them until I went that way last year. Now, I don't know if I would use a system other than Turbo Tax since I don't think they are an IRS tax system. People have to also be very careful because every self filing service is not to be trusted.

wow that's actually goood girl. Anything near 1000 is gooood if youre single with no dependents lol That can be pretty rare sometimes. My sister told me I should register my w-2 as head of household since I help our mother financially and file her on my taxes at the end of the year. I have to find out more about that though since we dont live together.

Ahhh, good luck with getting your vehicle and on your move to Arkansas! I know about the vehicle thing all too well so definitely good luck with that. Hey, they're slow on sending out the money this year. I hear it will take a month even if the returns are e-filed. Since many of you went through h&r block has there been any word of this? Is this correct? Im waiting also and I got word that it wont be back until March .

@JustMeAndYou77: according to the irs "where's my refund" you should receive it within 21 days of them receiving your Filed return. unless. I know that for some people who arm claiming some education creditS will have to wait till middle of Feb to file

Munnney or Nunnney? I both love and dislike tax season. Im single and have to really struggle to get anything back. When I do get something back it's gone in less than a month. This time most if not all will be used to get my car repaired. What about you?
im a single mommy too and every tax return usually goes to things my kids need or want or playing catchup.......we dont get to enjoy much of the return this yr becuz its going to fixing/repairing what my ex destroyed/broke/caused me to lose
