Actually the best mexican food is homemade from a girlfriend of mine. Her husband is a doll. We have a couple of good places here that are restrant.
@Ram318: We never put chicken in our gumbo lol. And I love okra all types of ways: deep fried, steamed over collard greens, and I just started with baked okra :)
I've never had Okra... Is there anything you could compare its taste to?
@alynn: Have to admit, I've nvr heard of baked okra lol How is it? And my fav gumbo is Seafood gumbo...w tons of shrimp n crawfish n crab n scallops n even catfish :)...oh n can't forget oysters!
@IrishLove1988: Okra is....a pretty unique vegetable. But it is delicious, slime and all ;) Best thing to do is just try it :D
