@JCSMTG: I cannot condone or accept that, addiction, like everything else in life is a choice, first and foremost, if they are addicted to sex, then they have chosen to make themselves so. :) If an addiction does indeed exist, it is the person's choice that they have it. The fault of the results of that addiction lies with the person not the so called "sickness". Therefore, it is that "guy's" (not man, mind you) fault when they run around with that mindset, effectively they chose to think like that, they chose that path.

I didnt say being an addict to anything was a good thing. Or that it was a good defense. An alcoholic that hits and kills someone doesnt get sympathy 4 example.

What i was trying to point out is that the trend of addictive behaviors is on the rise, sex is included. My sympathy for them is same as crack addicts: none.

FIrst, let me apologize, I have mild OCD, and sometimes my mind jumps before I can actually think, after I posted that and then reread your post, I realized what I had done. I jumped up on my soapbox because I have this deal about people, personal choice and responsibility and I guess I just revealed it...damn...lol. But my bad, not yours. I agree with what you are saying. I have empathy for addicts, I am one myself, I smoke cigs, after all. But, did not mean to come off as throwing you under the bus wheel. :)

Im a smoker too, i do understand, but it was my choice.

But as with any addiction help is in order. Tuesday me and my pcp are going to discuss my options for quitting.
