Forum Behavior? (by alynn)
Here's the thing: Not everyone knows that a topic has been discussed 80 times. If you're new to the site or forums, you may not know about duplicate posts or what Andres has ruled against. Like someone mentioned, put yourself in the newcomer's shoes. Some folks just don't know how things work here, and I guess its fine to mention it to them, but not in a rude way. They really may not know. And I myself didn't know that duplicate posting is to be reported, but I'll keep that in mind now that I do know. I just remember how I felt when I first got here, and I want people to feel welcomed and noticed - that's just the type of person I am. And yeah, some fresh people to keep things growing.
