That Awkward Moment When.... (by BeautifullyBrokenn91)
I got into when I started doing research on Wicca. I just can't shut my damn brain off! It just runs non stop lol
I guess the closest thing to that i know is the things i learned when i did drama at school, breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth (nowhere near the same thing i know, but fair play to you)
Well, that is a mode of meditation in some methods. It's got a lot to do with breathing lol
:) thanks, yeah mentioning the stuff i did in drama brought back some cool memories. i was an oompa loompa you know? lol (slightly off topic i know)

I can totally relate.. insomnia runs in my family which sux cuz im up almost all night every night then wake up with my son an hour after i fall asleep... And on top of it i have bipolar disorder so my mind goes 100 miles an hour all the time... It sux...
I go on and off with insomnia so diff things work at diff times.. Distraction works for my mind racing. I put on a movie i love or a comedian. Something i want to see and force myself to pay attention. Or start at my toe and tell it how tired it is and work my way up until ive convinced my body that it should sleep lol
@Acire73: omg i thought i was the only person who done that !! i'll start at my toes and tell them to relax..focus on relaxing my feet..then my legs...and just work my way up my body. by the time i get to my head im completly relaxed and almost asleep lol
@cutiebaby420: girl i can totally relate! i don't have any kids but i am bipolar and have insomnia. its like whenever you are chill enough to actually sleep your mind just races! its awful. i'll lay down in the bed and listen to my ipod till i get really sleepy. it seems to chill me out and kinda slow down my mind because im not focused on anything but the music. i would say try that but i mean im sure you got a babymonitor or something so you can hear your son cry. might not need to do the ipod thing haha :)
