@lilpoorgurl: That was mean & of them.! You are in a different country & they gave you food that is NOT from that country. I think they gave you FRENCH cheese. You mentioned the host was French. I think they called it " Rich cheeze" because it costs a lot to make it, age it, ship it. And maybe they don't know the words for the cheeses. Maybe there us NO translation. I think they served " blue cheese"&" herb cheese" , but what kind..? No idea. And I'm lost on French. One day, serve them an exotic food... Tell them it is rich & watch them gag!!!
