Ladies, do you actually like being called things like love, sugar, babe etc.? (by alynn)
Well i guess thats why its called southern hospitality cuz i call everyone honey, darlin, sweetheart jus cuz its natural for me. I call my kids friends it also so its jus part of being nice around here or being a smarta ** one, lol. I also like it when said to me, once again its jus flattering. Pet names like "babygirl" are reserved for my speacial someone, but the others are jus everyday words to me.
@MrSupaFreak101: you know!!! you can call me anything you want....and you know you called me pechocha....remember? silly
@brite i lived in florida for five years and i picked up all those names darlin i was really bad at. My parents would look at me strangely. Still do it today. But not as bad as after i got back from florida.
I call lotsa ppl babe, darlin and baby. it is special to me when someone calls me anything he wants in that special tone of voice...for me is the timber and tone not the words....personally tho i cant stand when any of these endearments are used as sarcasm....around my neck of the woods that is disrespect...
@Ram318: Yeah my folks are from Louisiana and I go out there a lot. I am used to family and friends of the family saying things like that. But I know they aren't up to anything like trying to flirt/sweet talk. And it does seem to come out naturally for them lol. When a guy is trying to flirt though, and is just meeting me for the first time, I prefer my name. So to all the guys on here, call me alynn, Amber Lynn or just Amber :D
I usually say those thigs but I choose. Something personal for my gal
I like a personal name but only if its from sumone i really care about
I think ***** cat, sexy beast, babygirl, things like that are personal names to me....all the others are jus sweet talkin words from either sex, dont mean their flirtin with ya or anything. Not to me anyway, jus bein a southern bell darlin.
A guy just greeted me with "hey sexy" - this is one of the most annoying. Guys, just don't....don't. Sorry, but you will get ignored.
