Writing long messages/posts forces me to log in again and I lose the message (by tractorjohn)

It has been messages and forum for me too andres....and just as tractor said, I can immediately log in and then type something (and it also always seems to me to be long messages) and go right back to log in page....is acually quite frustrating sometimes and I was grateful tractor brought this up.

OK, so it doesn't seem like it's caused by the sessions expiring.

Let's get to the bottom of this so I can fix it as I can definitely see how incredibly frustrating this issue can be.

When you guys say you "log in", are you referring to the manual log in process where you enter your username and password or the automatic login using the "Remember me" feature (which remembers your password and logs you in without you having to manually enter anything)?

How should I go about reproducing this on my end? Should I log out, log in, write a very long message, and press "send"? And it should take me to the login page?

The manual log in for me. Here's wat happens to me- I create a post, then wen I hit post, I get sent to the previous page I was on except that the 'join, its free and easy' tag is at the top of the page and the 'log in' area is at the bottom of that page. And its happened with 'long' posts' mainly. Tho it has happened with shorter ones. And, Ill add, it doesn't happen all that often. At least to me , anyway

It happened to me again. Logged in, went straight to the Country Boy Thread wrote a long message clicked Post & it sent me to the sign in page. Now I do not want to try writting a long message anymore because too much writting to be lost. I give up.

Folks, I'm really sorry about this. There is nothing more frustrating than writing a long message and then losing it.

tractorjohn, Ram318, and LaDawn1974, when viewing this page here now, can you please tell me if the URL shows &ID= followed by a long alpha-numeric string? (You may need to click on the address bar of your browser to view the full URL.)

After you confirm the above (please do that first), can you please CLICK THIS LINK and confirm whether your browser accepts cookies (green) or not (red)?

Make sure you are using the same mobile phone that experiences this issue.

The reason I'm asking you for this is because I've never personally experienced this issue and I've been using the site longer than anyone has, so I'm thinking it may be related to your mobile browsers, so if I can narrow it down to that, then I can implement a specific fix just for that. Or we at least rule that out, and look at other possibilities.

Please let me know and thanks for your help and patience! :)

@Andres: My phone does not show that information.
