What happened to the good old vampires? (by James2112)
Maybe lol anyone got a cardboard cutout of the maker of sparkly vampires? Lol
@LaDawn1974: lol buffy would take one look at the twilight vampires and laugh
Ain't that the truth... OR... She might screw them... For a slayer she had a nasty habit of slipping into their coffins lmao
Salems lot from the late 1970s. Scared the living daylights out of a whole generation of us kids. The vampire in the rocking chair scene, or the vampire child floating outside the window.
I do admire the uniqueness of the writer to create something that actually isn't traditional and is outside the box. But Twilight is basically about teenage "love" and "hotness" and hormones, among other things - I wouldn't even categorize it as a serious vampire story in the ranks with Interview With The Vampire, Salem's Lot or Dark Shadows. Twilight was made for teen girls, to get a huge fan base and make money. Gotta give Stephanie Meyer her props, she's a rich woman lol.
True Blood and the movie Daywalkers are worth a look if you're looking for more of the bloody, gory sort of vampire.
I actually like the twilight saga myself but it really is the story line that i like. But the real vampire stuff that i like the most is queen of the damned and underworld. Im also into the tv series True Blood.
I personally love 30 days of night, i like how it depicts vamps as bloodthirsty cold blooded S.O.Bs, also @ Mr. Ram: he was ugly as he could be D: great movie though :)
