Watch "The Tao of Steve", it is a comedy, but it explains this phenomenon pretty well. A lot of women have these mental "lists" and quite often the "jerk" or what have you may fulfill this need that they have, you also have to remember that outward appearances can be very deceiving and that many people wear "masks". Women are not dumb, like some would like to think, there is usually a very good reason why they are with the person that they choose. :)

Well to answer that one i would have to speack from experience. growing up i had one person in my life who always judged me and was negative towards me so to me for the longest time thats what love was. i felt normal being treated like crap. not saying this is true in all cases but i know it holds true for many women

Unfortunately many women are insecure and unwilling to trust. they know that bad boys are gonna be bad so when they are it is expected and doesn't 'really' hurt

The girl honestly believes that he wants her just as bad. If he is abusive high chances are that the girl grew up with abuse or maybe some girls need the be treated like crud to keep themselves in line hell idk anything is possible lol
