Why can't more men be like a military man when it comes to being in a relationship? (by Angelia)
my best friend since third grade is married to a marine. this guy has cheated on her multiple times. told her without him shes nothing. hes threatened to kill her if she leaves him. he has threatened me for stickin up for her (untill i broke his jaw with a bat). he continues to berate her, belittle her, and put fear into thier children. this man uses his training to do whatever he wants and he STILL maintains his rank and service........ this is what you want?
My fiinace is a veteran army and i agree that miltary men are so much better as in everything there are bad apples i know because myy first ex husband is proof of that but i have fouund the best in my new finacee .

well he is a f****** disgrace to the marine corps. my dad served in the marines for many yrs. he was a sniper. my dad never raised his hand to a woman or disrespected one in any way. he raised all of his children to be respectful and he wud nevr tolerate anything less. sum1 needs to take that a**wipe out and show him wat REAL men are made of...dang shame u only broke his jaw! wish u wudve broke alot more...although im sure u broke his pride (if he had any). Thanx for sharing that story btw. Will pray for ur lady friend.
it has been my experience with every military man and woman ive come to know. they have an "im far better than youll ever be" attitude about them. i say NO! you are not! same with the 3 family members that were in each major war. i dont think all are like that..... but the majority have a free pass to do as they please to whom they please. then a guy like me who loves and treats women like people and not property gets to take the bench so g.i. joe can do as he pleases. wheres the fairness?
@yourladyoflove: thank you hun. i appreciate that. ive begged her to come to me but shes so scared she just wont even though she wants too. he knows hell have to shoot me before i let him defeat me. hes threatened me and my children, but wont dare step to my face anymore. what a coward. he can kill me if he tried but i showed him no fear! little ol me put his punk ass in his place. so they moved to N. carolina. now i cant help her and it hurts me to know that. she may wind up dead at his hands and im powerless to help her now.
@PaulG7719: so sad :'( and hes NOT a marine...hes a psycho nut job! he wudnt make a pimple on a good marine soldiers ass!!!
@yourladyoflove: haaaaaahahahahahhhah!! dam right! im more man then he will ever be.
i have always been in love with that girl. i wish i had the courage when we were younger to just tell her..... too late. but she knows now and says she loves me too. but shes so scared and i dont blame her. but even if im seein someone and she needs me, im there to offer my home and protection.
Wow, I got alot of really good opinions, so with that said Thanks! I was raised by a ex military man and he was my hero! So, I'll always have a strong respect for our military men and women and all the sacrifices they deal with. As for the younger generation military....please take your duties very seriously! NO MAN has a right to raise his hand to a woman out of anger or just to show how big a man he thinks he is!
@Angelia: well thats awesome! im glad you think that way. unfortunately my grandfather (ww2 vet) was a horrible, horrible man. my grandmother (ww2 nurse) was very hateful.... as was my uncle (vietnam vet). all 3 very very violent. i pray for thier souls. but yknow not all are that way. so kudos to your father. that makes me proud of him. now..... as for the topic...... im not military.... but im a dam good man and father.
