Does anyone else have a fondest memory they would like to add?

I can't believe I never saw this before... hmmm. my fondest memory would have to be when my oldest nephew (now 5) was 1, he came to stay with us for a few months. His bed was in my room and he would wake me up every morning by throwing his bottle or something within reach at me. He started calling me MeMeg because I was HIS Meg. He was (is still) such a cutie. MeMeg became Megsie when he was 4. When I asked him why he told me very matter of factly, because you're my toy!

Ironic to see this topic. I just shared that memory with a lady iv come to like alot on here. Whats peculiar, is i dont recall ever sharing it with anyone else. Now im compelled to keep it that way.

hmmm.... My fondest memory as a child is walking to McDonald's all by myself under my dad's watchful eye. I could have gotten skinned but those chicken nuggets were worth it lol Our home was about 5 minutes away.

@JustMeAndYou77: lol, I've never lived close enough to walk anywhere to get food. When I'd stay at my aunts we used to walk to Wedy's but that is it.

okay. so I thought about it (as the one wasn't a childhood fond memory) my fondest childhood memory would be when my family lived down the road from an ice-cream shop... when the weather was warm, we'd walk down there and get ourselves a cone.

Yes and what happened was, I was about 4 years old. My parents swung by there once (it was a luxury because it wasn't something we were allowed to have. They couldn't afford to do that all the time anyway). They gave us small portions of McDonald's food and I was hooked on the taste. I had to have it. I asked to go again and my parents were like, yeah baby...next time smh lol So, my dad was working on an electronic device on the porch one day and we were in the yard playing with our dolls. I attempted the trip at least 4 times. Nearly got spanked on the third. My dad was dozing off each time lol I knew he wouldn't be able to hold on much longer and when I seen that head bob, I grabbed my sister and was out of there lmao Luckily, one of my parents friends saw us and bought us the nuggets and took us home though. I don't think I was ready to go home at the time, but mk.
