Lol I know how you feel.. Although I haven't gotten sucked into any recently, it's realllly easy to get into a good anime. I remember when I first started Black Butler I finished the whole series in two days! (...it's true I was also trying to avoid my sis who had just come to town but that's beside the point.)
And oh who cares what other people think, anime is *not* gay and it's not just for kids. c:
