Btw...no one told me how terrifying the first take off would be. I literally thought irrationally about asking the flight attendant to let me off the plane! Lmao
There was a 3 year old Asian girl sitting next to me and she was completely calm, so I bit my lip and tried to be an adult.
Before coming back to Houston, I read online that staring at the ceiling of the plane changes the motion that you feel of going "up" during take off, that helped a lot more than closing my eyes and feeling my stomach drop every 10 seconds.
