Now that it is 53days aprox., since Ms Chambers sadistic murder. I'm think there is a woman in that little town who is doing" the stand by your man", song & dance. So she's not talking. Maybe, she even believes he loves her or she won. Until.. The reality of what she's truly living with sinks in.. When, he f*cks her over.
Then she will turn him in & be all of the news with her story of love, fear, abuse & betrayal.
Fifteen minutes of fame & $53, 000

"" investigators are following new leads in the
search for the person or persons that killed
Jessica Chambers nearly two months ago.
“They told me Friday they had some good
things that they were working on,” said
Jessica’s father Ben Chambers. “I think they
picked some people up and questioned them.
I hope to know something soon.”
Jessica died December 7, a day after police
said someone poured an accelerant down her
mouth and nose and set her on fire, burning
her alive.
While some on social media have criticized
the investigation into Jessica’s death, her
family said they are confident in law
enforcement. “They turning over every leaf and
ever stone you know, but so far they just
haven’t got no evidence as far as I know,” said
Chambers. But he said local police are
working day and night. “I know they supposed
to go on vacation this time of year; and they
not going on vacation. They staying and
working, you know. The Sheriff text me the
other day and said ‘Ben,’ he said ‘you know I
will never give up on you.’”
Jessica’s mom agreed. “They doing all they
can do. They are working hard,” said Lisa
Chambers. But knowing that her daughter’s
killer is still out there “makes me sick to my
stomach.”
Lisa Chambers said she hopes police will
make an arrest soon.
The family is asking anyone with any
information to contact police. A reward of
over $50,000 is being offered for tips that lead
to an arrest.""

No new news but People magazine did a story a few days ago.....

"" BY CHRISTINE PELISEK @chrispelisek

It was supposed to be a quick dinner
stop, but it ended in tragedy.
As of Wednesday, Mississippi
investigators still don't know who
killed 19-year-old Jessica Lane
Chambers, a fun-loving former high
school cheerleader who was set on
fire after being doused with accelerant
in the small Tennessee town of
Courtland on Dec. 6.
Investigators with the Mississippi
Bureau of Investigation and the
Panola County Sheriff's Office are
questioning several possible
witnesses, reviewing Jessica's cell
phone data for clues and scouring a
piece of video footage that shows her
walking towards a gas station 90
minutes before first responders
discovered her on fire about one mile
from the gas station.
The grainy gas station footage shows
Jessica waving before she walks over
to speak with someone. The
surveillance camera also picks up a
man wearing a striped shirt filling up a
gas can before walking in the same
direction as the teen. Soon afterwards,
Jessica returns to her car and drives
off. According to WISTV , the police
cleared the man wearing the striped
shirt.
As the investigation continues, family
members grieve.
"No one can believe this really
happened to a child," her father, Ben
Chambers, tells PEOPLE. "She was
burnt alive. This was cold-blooded
murder. They have every person you
can think of working on the case.
They are checking all leads. It doesn’t
matter how big or little."
Deputies in Mississippi responded to
a call on Saturday about a burning car
and found Jessica on fire outside her
black 2005 Kia Rio.
"She had her hands up," says
Chambers. "One of the paramedics
took his coat off and placed it around
her."
"I think she was targeted," he says.
"Doctors said they sprayed some kind
of accelerant down her throat. You
don't do that unless you are a cruel
person and you hate them. I don't
know how someone can hate someone
that bad."
Chambers, a mechanic with the
Panola County Sheriff's Department,
says Jessica's cell phone was found
outside her car and the battery was
missing.
"There was some kind of struggle
there," he says. "I think someone
pulled up beside her. My thought is
that the person knocked her out and
thought they killed her and poured
gas on her and she woke up and got
out of the car."
Before she died, he says, Jessica told
authorities the first name of the
person who did it.
"I don't know the name she told," he
says.
Jessica was flown by helicopter to the
Regional Medical Center in Memphis
where she died on Sunday at 2:37
a.m.
"We had to wait and wait," her father
says. "Finally a doctor told us there
was nothing they could do. I broke
down. She was burnt on 98 percent of
her body. The only part that wasn't
burnt was the bottom of her feet."
Chambers says his ex-wife spoke to
his daughter at 7:20 p.m., about two
hours before she died.
"She told her mother she would be
home soon but she first was going to
stop and get something to eat and
clean her car out. She told her mother,
'I love you, Mama. I will see you in
just a little while.' "
The Mississippi Bureau of
Investigation and the Panola County
Sheriff's Office did not return calls for
comment.
At the time of her death, Chambers
says his daughter was working at a
clothing store as a sales clerk and
planned to attend college next year.
She wanted to be an accountant.
"She was so bubbly," he says. "You
never had a bad day around her. She
was always cracking jokes. She was
full of life and joy. She had no
enemies. Today, I feel like I am in a
dream."

Oh....just saw this from Feb 9th....

"" FOX13 News has learned that only one lead
has been generated by Panola County Crime
Stoppers in the murder investigation into
Jessica Chambers of Courtland, Miss.
As well, the reward to find her killer was
raised to $54,000. Yalabousha Crime
Stoppers added $1,000 to the reward.
Chambers was burned to death Dec. 6 next to
a car in Courtland.
FBI and ATF agents were back at the crime
scene today, investigating at the murder
scene.
Panola County Sheriff Dennis Darby said his
department has only gotten one lead from
Crime Stoppers. The rest of those leads came
from footwork on the street.
Sheriff Darby said the $54,000 reward has so
far generated next to nothing in leads.
The news is leaving Lisa Chambers, the
victim's mother, in disbelief.
"That would be my question, as to why no one
is calling because somebody knows
something and that money would help
somebody,” Lisa Chambers said.
What about that $54,000 in reward money?
FOX13 News has found out you'll have to call
Texas to get it. Sheriff Darby said Crime
Stoppers is not handled locally. The calls are
instead routed through Texas for anonymity
and tips forwarded to the sheriff's
department.
FOX13 News has also learned the complete
autopsy results for Jessica are in and that
law enforcement subpoenaed records from
every cell carrier in Panola County during the
investigation. We requested copies of the
cellphone records and autopsy but was told
they are protected since it is an ongoing
investigation.
Both District Attorney John Champion and
Sheriff Darby said they have interviewed
hundreds of people and are still working some
"things” in the murder investigation. FOX13
News is working to uncover just what those
“things” actually are.
Lisa Chambers had sharp words for her
daughter's killer or killers.
"I don't care if it is 50 years from now you are
going to get caught,” she said. “If they don't
catch you, God will. He already knows."
On Feb. 2 family and friends gathered to
celebrate what would have been Jessica's
20th birthday. That same day investigators
told FOX13 that the search for her killer has
turned cold.
Sheriff Darby and DA Champion say they feel
the case is anything but cold and they feel
that the leads they have will ultimately come
together.""

Authorities reveal more info on Jessica Chambers movements before she was killed...

"" Investigators in the Jessica Chambers
case have released more about her
whereabouts on Dec. 6, the day she was
burned alive, in hopes that it may jog
someone's memory as to anything else
they might remember from that day.
District Attorney John Champion said the
19-year-old Courtland girl, who was
found with 98% of her body burned near
her car, which also went up in flames, was
home for most of the day on that
Saturday.
Champion said around 5 or 5:30 p.m.,
Chambers got a phone call, and she left
and went to the convenience store where
she was captured on surveillance video.
Officials know who made that call, and
they don't believe that person has any
bearing on the case.
Chambers' mother, Lisa Daugherty, has
said that Chambers told her she was
going to get food and clean her car out.
She said she believes Jessica went to
Batesville to do that because she learned
later that the car cleaning facility in
Courtland wasn't working at the time.
A little before 6 p.m., Chambers was at a
residence in Courtland for about five to
seven minutes. Champion said officials
will not elaborate on whose residence that
was or what she did there, nor if she
picked someone up or dropped someone
off.
She went from that residence to the area
of Woodland and Highway 6 in Batesville.
Champion said there are several
businesses there she may have visited,
and she was in that area for about 10 to
15 minutes. A separate, privately owned
video source caught an image of her in
her car during this time, but authorities
said they know where she was going.
Around 6:30, Chambers was back in
Courtland. But that's where that gap in
the timeline comes. Officials don't know
where she was for the hour after 6:30
p.m.
"At around 7:31, we've got her on the
scene where she was found," Champion
said. "There's that one hour gap we can't
put her in a particular spot... yet. We're
asking anyone who saw her between 6:30
and 7:30 that night to let us know."
Officials used witness statements, along
with technology, to help narrow down
where Chambers was throughout the day.
"We're certainly using her cellphone
records and using some technology we
have available to pin some of this stuff
down," the DA said.
The talk that there was a party that
Chambers attended has turned up
nothing, officials said.
"There's nothing at all to say she was at a
party," Champion said.
In reference to a question at Champion's
Tuesday afternoon press conference about
whether the investigation was cold, he
said, "There are still active leads we're
following. We're working on active leads
today."
Officials won't release anything new on
the autopsy because it's evidence,
Champion said, but he did say that they
weren't surprised by anything they saw in
the results.
There is a $54,000 reward in the case,
which strangely hasn't brought any viable
tips to the forefront, officials have said.
Area residents say they believe people are
afraid that if they come forward with
information, they could be next.
Assistant US Attorney Chad Lamar said
there is a way to provide protection for
witnesses in the Chambers case.
"There is a procedure in place where a
witness security program would and could
be available in any case, whether it be a
federal or state investigation," he said.
"Potentially we can look into that. The
same would be true of any case.""
