@messageandreply: very true. Every religion says to respect other religions. We are here living with Faith on God and Religion..

The European Court of Human Rights has backed a French law that bans covering your face in public saying the burqa ban encourages people to live together in harmony. Well if that’s the case maybe we should be trying it here? The only trouble is such a ban would run roughshod over our basic right to wear what we like, wouldn't it?
American is founded on freedom of religion but not all things done in the name of religion here are legal. For example you cannot be married to more than one wife which is a basic Mormon belief and if a Jehovahs Witness refuses to give their child a needed blood transfusion then the govt will take custody of said child. We walk a fine line between individual rights and public rights of the "people". In this case I certainly believe the ban should be kept and is not an infringement on individual rights but rather a guarantee of public rights.

Hard to find the compromise between individual rights and public safety these days. Yet freedom is not free, don't we sort of give up some rights to even have rights??

so why don't
we try to respect each other without say
something bad
I never saw any disrespect in this thread

mean,
this is our rules to wear a burqa to all
muslim's women..
Which is all I was asking about....the reason for it

guess other religions have their
own rules too and we never forbid them to
leave their rules
I never said anything about forbidding wearing them. I have no issue what an individual does....as far as the OP, its France so they can do whatever they want, I frankly dont care.

As to anybody insinuating it shldnt be talked about, theres a solution, stick to the d*ck and fart joke threads. Its a forum....a place where things are discussed, whether some individual disagrees with the topic or not.

Hello one n all! Hope everyone is having a good day! When this great nation was founded it was founded on religious and personal freedom! Our forefatherts fled England because if this(no offense to the English ppl here today) and in order to protect those same freedoms yes other freedoms are put aside. This nation is a melting pot of different cultures n always has been!
And sometimes we have to bite the bullet n decide if everything should be free at the expense of our nations safety n security? I am speaking as a veteran n I have seen both ends of the extreme of all freedoms being taken away totally n to having some freedom n giving up other freedoms to be safe n secure! It is our choice each if us in whatever nation we reside in!
