Why can't the needy get help? (by lonelylady88)
Why is it that the people who really need help or want to work, can't get help or a job?
This is a good question, and one that effects me. its about taking the oppertunities given to you, but i think there isnt enough help out there.
@lonelylady88: i think it's because of so many bad egg out there
Im in an area where people sit around waitin for handouts while i bust my butt takin care of myself and son. I know its hard but sit around and wait for somethin or make somethin happen. I can tell u which will get u farther.
Couldnt agree more. God helps those who help themselves.
See my fiance works, i would love nothing more but to be working, but there are no jobs around us. We live in a retirement town but can't afford to move. I stay at home with my two kids doing online applications and put am app. In every month at the local gas station. The money my fiance brings in barely gets us by. I hate depending on others because i want to be able to support my kids on my own, but I've done what i have to, even the state won't help us out. Now his mother moved in with us and things are tighter then ever.
U stay at home and put in apps online and apply at gas station. Apply at grocery fast food anywhere. I walk as far as i can in all directions and put up handmade fliers. Will clean mow grass go to store houseclean dogwalk wash car dog cat whatever. Retired people some need help. Paint. Go in person door to door. Go to closest town thats large enough to donate plasma. They pay. Just some ideas that i do when i am looking for work. Good luck
