@JustMeAndYou77: exactly im myself and I to have heard things like get real , you dont have to lie to make friends , and just be yourself, but I just shrug them off I dont live to everyone elses expectations of me if they dont like me or think im fake then they can press on there have been a few times where someone has called me fake and I wanted to punch em in the nose and say really that feel fake. People arent worth it no point in getting all rilledup everytime some idiots give ya hard time in the end the world will open up and everything will be alright.
Exactly, yes and this is why I took the opposite side of the issue. No one can demand for someone to be himself or herself. It can also churn out more fakers and liars in my opinion because if they are being themselves whether real or fake...lying or not and we just cant accept the truth even if it's buried in our faces becoming what you want is also fake and not real.

@JustMeAndYou77: yea I really dont get what you said there becoming a better person isnt fake unless its forced like say if one gets themselves educated for a better job or anything to better themselves isnt fake unless its done for others then I can see it as fake but to better ones self for themself is never fake . So I guess I kinda get what your saying or we could be on a different level in this discussion then could just agree to disagree . Me I would just say we are both right because if we are being ourselves then we cant be wrong .

All a part of modern society, because we are taught from a young age to be like others around us or we won't be liked. But, as we get older we start to see that the person we actually are inside is more precious than the opinion of others. When we realize that, we then feel as though we should pass the "revelation" onto others. Well, thats what I think is the reason anyway :-)

Ah, I see.... What is PTSD? And you're cool with me girl :) I know you will be a lot stronger and work will be ok once you go back. You just need to find an outlet-something you enjoy doing personally outside your job. But.... moving furniture at that time of night..... Stop that!lol That's just wrong. I told you to get enough sleep for me not redecorate lmao

I love different view points and debate so I wont attack your views. In fact, I agree with them. However, I also got a little lost. How is telling someone in general to be themselves helping them to better themselves? Nothing pin-pointed or specific but very general as that? If anything Id think the person would try to be themselves for that person or people, whatever that is, instead of finding more reason within themselves to better themselves. For example, if someone told me to "just" be myself well what is that person saying exactly? And if I change somethingto be more of myself, will it really leave me more improved or just a puppet to be told when and how to be myself whenever its possible?

I absolutely agree with your response. In a nutshell this is what it's mainly about. Thanks! :)
